Can I receive company information and vote in respect of my shares electronically?
Yes. Shareholders can arrange to receive the company's annual report electronically and to submit voting instructions online for shareholder meetings by registering for the Shareview service at http://www.shareview.co.uk Can I donate my shares to charity?
Yes. United Business Media supports ShareGift, the charity share donation scheme administered by The Orr Mackintosh Foundation (registered charity number 1052686). Shareholders who have a very small number of shares which might be considered uneconomic to sell are able to donate them to the charity ShareGift. Donated shares are aggregated and sold by ShareGift, with the proceeds being passed on to a wide range of UK charities. Donating shares to charity gives rise neither to a gain nor loss for UK Capital Gains purposes and UK tax payers may also be able to claim income tax relief on such gifts of shares.

Details of dividend payments can be found in the Financial Calendar. Can I have my dividends paid directly into my bank account?
Yes, most UK bank or building society accounts allow this. You can obtain a dividend mandate from our registrars, Equiniti. The telephone number is 0871 384 2239 and the lines are open Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 5.30pm. You can also download a dividend mandate from their website, www.shareview.co.uk. Where can I find information about past dividend payments?
Details of dividend payments can be found in the dividend history section. Where can I find out how much the tax credit was on past dividends?
You will need to contact the Registrars, Equiniti. You can contact them on 0871 384 2239, and the lines are open Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 5.30pm. They hold details of the last two dividend payments electronically, but would need to access their files for anything earlier. They can also provide you with duplicate tax vouchers if required. Does UBM offer a dividend reinvestment programme?
No. UBM offered this facility until 1997 but found that most shareholders preferred to receive cash dividends. How can I obtain a copy of UBM’s annual report?
UBM's annual report is published on this website and can be downloaded from the Investor Relations section http://www.unitedbusinessmedia.com/ubm/ir/reports/. Alternatively you can request a copy by emailing companysecretary@ubmgroup.biz. Why do I receive more than one copy of UBM’s annual report?
This is because the registrars have more than one account in your name. This may be because when you last purchased UBM shares your name or address was provided to the registrars in a different format from that held on your existing account. To amalgamate your accounts you should contact the Registrars, Equiniti, who will advise you what information they need from you in order to do this. The telephone number is 0871 384 2239 and the lines are open Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 5.30pm. When is your AGM held?
The AGM is generally held each May. You can find the details in the Financial Calendar.
